I bring so much
to the work.
[ ABOUT ]
Artist. Designer. Strategist.
Mom above all.
I studied English literature. I wanted to work in visual arts. An advisor steered me toward graphic design instead, on the grounds that it would hold all of it — and Andy Warhol, Milton Glaser, and David Carson joined Shakespeare, Blake, and Poe without replacing them.
Twenty-four years in, across the U.S., France, and Lebanon, I still believe what David Carson said: design can save the world after rock and roll. The work ranges across education networks, luxury real estate, hospitality, lifestyle brands, and founders with nothing but a name and a conviction, but the through-line is the same. A beautifully-crafted book. A perfectly stitched grid. An invite too beautiful to throw out. Graffiti on a rundown wall. I read literature, psychology, art, fashion. Music, history, and film. I bring all of it into the work because design alone was never enough for me.
Currently Head of Design at Eastwood Schools since 2019. Completed two certificates at Parsons School of Design — AI for Creativity and Leadership in 2025, and Futures Studies and Speculative Design in 2026. Taking on a small number of studio projects through Haus of Sparrow.
Sailors tattooed sparrows after crossing oceans, navigating by stars, by instinct, by the pull of the earth's magnetic field. I've crossed a few oceans. The name carries that.
Based in Beirut, which is either a limitation or a credential depending on who's reading, and where designing through actual disruption teaches you what holds and what doesn't. I'm still happy to say I don't know something. Sure would like to learn how.
