My design process has evolved over the years, and as of late, I have been following the design thinking process, whether the project is a logo redesign or a 360 campaign involving print, web and interactive components.
The five stages of design thinking, according to the d.school, are:
1. Empathize 2. Define 3. Ideate 4. Prototype 5. Test
Besides walking through this process, clearly defined deadlines, robust project management, hiring the right talents for specific tasks and keeping open channels of communication ensure the whole process of design is a seamless, enjoyable experience across the board.
